Hello! :)
My name is Miss Lichtl and I teach 6th grade Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies, and Economics! It is an absolute honor to serve and work with the students of Colina Middle School. I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Spanish from Westmont College, and my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential through California Lutheran University. I grew up in Thousand Oaks and attended CVUSD schools for my entire K-12 education. I am so excited to give back to the community that raised me! Some of my favorite things include volleyball, art, travel, the beach, reading, spending time with loved ones, and of course... teaching! I was inspired to become a teacher through working with children and serving my community through Girl Scouts (12 whole years of it!). Additionally, I serve as a volleyball coach at California Heat Volleyball Club where I have coached 13s, 14s, and 15s teams. Another one of my favorite things to do is bake cookies and watch Netflix! I am thrilled to get to know each and every one of you! We are going to have an amazing year together! :) Miss Lichtl |
